• This document outlines the booking and cancellation policy for our multi-day motorcycle tours and rentals. Please read this policy carefully.

Multi-Day Motorcycle Tours & Rentals

Refund Policy 

• Full Refund: We do not allow full refunds on our tour purchases.  
• Tour Deposit (Cancellations): Due to pre-booked hotel reservations, the motorcycle deposit for our tours is non-refundable.  
• Rental Deposit (Cancellations): Rental deposits are 100% fully refundable.  
• Trip Cancellation Insurance: Available for 5% of the tour cost at the time of booking.  
• Insurance Benefits: Provides credit toward a future tour or rental with us.

Reason for Policy: Tours and accommodations are booked months in advance, necessitating confirmed motorcycle availability for all our clients.

Fairness Policy: We strive to be fair in our dealings. If we do not have any tours or rentals scheduled or if we have to cancel during this time, we are always open to discussing individual situations.

Covered Cancellation Scenarios

Credit will be provided if cancellation is due to:  

• Insurance Policy: Cancellation with the purchase of our Insurance Coverage Policy. 
• Extreme Sickness, Accidental Injury, or Death: Proper documentation is required.  
• Traffic Accident: Involvement in a traffic accident on the way to the tour or before (police report required).  
• Adverse Situations: Events that affect your ability to join the tour (war, terrorism, natural disasters, strikes).

Additional Notes

Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour reserves the right to cancel or end your tour based on the legitimacy of each rider’s experience level, riding behavior, and other factors that could pose a risk to our guides, motorcycles, or clients.

Each rider must come equipped with:  

• License: A valid motorcycle driver’s license of their country of origin  
• Experience Level: Information regarding their experience levels.  
• Background Experience: Honest details about themselves, credit card data, address and personal details,  including their place of origin and any other required information during our booking process.

Exclusions from Trip Cancellation Insurance

(Insurance provided by Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour does not cover the following)

• Non-Tour Related Expenses: Expenses not included in the tour price, such as:
• Airline Expenses & or Missed Flights

• Additional Hotels

• Supplementary sightseeing activities   
• Luggage Issues: Lost, damaged, or stolen luggage.  
• Medical Costs: Any medical costs, including activities associated with medical evacuation. We do work with a number of companies that can provide this service.  
• Unlisted Situations: Any situation not explicitly mentioned within the policy.

Additional Notes:

Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour reserves the right to cancel a rider’s participation in the tour if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to issues with personality, failure to listen to the guide, or disregard for the rules of the road and directions provided during the tour. This also includes their temperament towards other tour members and how they treat and operate the motorcycle.

We are committed to preventing injury and fostering a group environment that is enjoyable and suitable for all participants. This means absolutely no drugs, prostitution, driving under the influence of alcohol, or reckless driving. Riders must adhere to the rules of the road to ensure safety while exploring a foreign country. If we determine that a rider cannot follow these guidelines, we reserve the right to end their trip without a refund.
