Motorcycle Rentals:

We understand that plans can change. Therefore, we offer a full deposit & cost refund for rentals if canceled within 24 hours of the rental period as long as clients follow our exclusion guidelines below. If the cancellation occurs outside of this time frame, we will provide credit towards your next rental date. 

Day Travel Experiences and Tours:

For day tours with our trusted 3rd party partners, we do not offer a refund of your reservation fee or cost of your  tour. However, we are more than willing to provide partial credit for the same tour on a future date. We do this so that we can pay our third party clients the cost of their time and money to book the tour and the scheduled cost of the  transportation provider. 

Motorcycle Tours:

For our motorcycle tours, we are committed to providing flexibility and convenience Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour offers a range of comprehensive services for our motorcycle tours, including the option to purchase a trip cancellation insurance. This insurance provides customers with the opportunity to receive a refund of the tour cost under specific circumstances outlined below. If the cancellation occurs outside of this time frame and you do not purchase our Trip Cancellation Insurance Option, we can provide credit towards your next tour date.

Trip Cancellation Insurance:

• The trip cancellation insurance can be purchased at the time of booking the tour, up to 30 days before the tour’s scheduled start date. It cannot be acquired after the tour has been booked.
•  The cost of the trip cancellation insurance is 5% of the total listed price of the tour, including any supplements, excluding charges not paid to Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour.

Covered Cancellation Scenarios:

We will refund the full tour price to a customer who has purchased the Trip Cancellation Insurance if the cancellation is due to any of the following reasons:

• Sickness, accidental injury, or death of the customer, their traveling companion, or an immediate family member or business partner. Proper documentation is required, including a signed letter from a physician on their letterhead.
• The customer or traveling companion being directly involved in a traffic accident while en route to the tour’s departure point. A police report must substantiate the claim.
• Adverse situations such as war, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, or strikes that prevent the customer from joining the tour.

Exclusions:

The trip cancellation insurance does not cover the following:

• Expenses not included in the tour price, such as airline expenses, additional hotel nights, or supplementary sightseeing activities.
• Lost, damaged, or stolen luggage.
• Medical costs, including activities associated with medical evacuation.
• Pre-existing conditions as defined within the policy document.
• Any situation not explicitly mentioned within the policy.

Please note that Colombia Motorcycle Rental & Tour reserves the right to determine the feasibility of joining the tour in progress in case of flight cancellations or accidents that prevent the customer from arriving at the starting location. Additional costs for joining the tour in progress will be the responsibility of the customer.
