On this journey, we will encounter the traditional rural industry of panela production. History teaches us that muleteers and their mules traversed the steep mountains of Antioquia to transport agricultural products.

The journey begins in the town center of Titiribi, advancing along a mule track towards a panela mill. There, we will learn about the processes of collecting, producing, and packaging panela. You can also savor a panela sweet, a traditional product of our Colombian territory. On the way back, we will travel on an unpaved road where you can contemplate the history of the Zancudo gold mines and the majestic chimneys of the area.

On this journey, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with nature and get closer to rural life. Our main attraction is getting to know the Blanco Orejinegro cattle breed, which is a heritage of Antioquia, and learning about its evolution over more than 500 years. Additionally, we’ll have the chance to enjoy bird watching.

The journey begins in the town center of Titiribi, proceeding along a mule track towards the village of Sitio Viejo. We will then continue along an unpaved road until we reach a cattle farm located on the border between the municipalities of Titiribi and Armenia. There, you can admire and interact with the cattle, learn about their management, breeding, and good livestock practices. On the way back, we will travel on the unpaved road to return to the village of Sitio Viejo, where you can learn about the history of the Zancudo gold mines and observe the majestic chimneys of the area.

We will then continue the journey along an unpaved road to reach the beautiful landscapes of Finca Santa Ana. Here, you’ll explore the traditions of planting, harvesting, pulping, fermenting, washing, drying, roasting, and harvesting coffee from the year 1773.

During the full moon phase, you can indulge in a moonlit muleback ride through illuminated nocturnal landscapes. It’s a magnificent experience that integrates a connection with the universe, adventure, and heightened senses.

This route is exclusively designed for individuals over the age of 12 and is subject to the weather conditions present on the nights of the full moon.

During this excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with nature, the sounds, and the mystery of the nighttime scenery. We will then reach an Antioquian tavern where you can immerse yourself in an adventure to the rhythm of ranchera and popular music. Finally, we’ll return via the unpaved road to arrive at the main square of Titiribi.
